Waxed Amaryllis

My Christmas waxed Amaryllis bloomed at the end of January and now it's blooming again. :)

But it has only been two months and the leaves are so short!

Wow, what a magnificent plant.

The bulb is surrounded in wax and doesn't get any soil or water. It normally blooms once and that's it. It isn't like a regular Amaryllis. Sometimes it will bloom twice, but it's rare. It did have plenty of leaves but now all that's left is this one pretty bloom.
