Granny Squares

On the weekend, I learned how to make Granny Squares! I tried figuring it out from a book, but kept making mistakes. Once a month on Saturdays, one of the stores in my area has free drop-in crochet instruction, and I spent some time on it last August, but didn't quite get it. But now, it's finally clicked, and I can do it!

Instead of making more small squares, I'll keep making this one larger until I run out of yarn.

Personal Stuff

Sorry that I haven't been keeping up with posts and comments very well. I'll start catching up on comments today, and I'll keep up with your posts on a daily basis, whenever I can. :)

Last week, I got rid of my TV! I had it for over 15 years, and the sound was starting to fade out, so it seemed like a good idea to let it go. I'll watch whatever shows I want to see on my computer.

I'm working on summer icons, and I'll post them later this week. Just in time for the beginning of the season!

I've started knitting and crocheting again! The local yarn store has free drop-in sessions once a month, and last week they had one for knitting that lasted all day. This time around, I hope I'll keep up with it!
